The Citizens Budget Advisory Committee is charged by the Ardsley School District Board of Education to review the district’s proposed school budget and to provide advice to the Board. Participation provides parents with an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of the budget process and to raise issues that the Board might consider in the development and presentation of the district’s fiscal budget. Membership is on a voluntary basis. Members of the committee are required to attend two Board workshops to review the proposed school budget and then a follow-up meeting to develop recommendations and advice to the Board, prior to the proposed budget going to public vote.
