Students in grades K-1 who require medication during the school day will have a parent requested as a chaperone in order to provide for the taking of such medication in the absence of the school nurse. Students in grades 2-4 who require medication during the school day will have that dosage sent along on the field trip to be administered under the direction of their classroom teacher. ALL students who require the use of an EpiPen will have their EpiPens accompany them on any field trip. ALL staff have been trained in the signal for and the administration of an EpiPen.
