COMMEMORATIVE BRICKS UPDATE
The Ardsley Education Foundation is delighted to announce our continuing
fundraising effort to install commemorative bricks along the walkway in
the High School Courtyard. The bricks are part of the upgrades to the
Courtyard with the completion of the District's construction project.
All proceeds from the sale of the bricks have directly gone to enhancing
the educational experience of students at all three schools.
Through the Foundation's administration of the Stephen O'Connell Memorial
Fund, separate enhancements to the Courtyard also included benches and
plantings. Please stop by the Courtyard when you visit the High School.
The Foundation is accepting orders for commemorative bricks via the order
form available at the link on this page. From this point forward new orders
will be installed on an ongoing basis in keeping with demand.
The Ardsley Education Foundation sincerely thanks the community for its
support of this effort and welcomes new members to assist in its mission
of enriching the educational experience of all our children. Please call
693-6300, Ext. 7770 to become a volunteer.
VOLUNTEER WORK WITH ARDSLEY EDUCATION FOUNDATION SUPPORTS SCHOOLS
CREATES COMMUNITY SPIRIT TOO!
The timing is perfect. Thanks to your support of our fundraiser, brings
a new planning cycle for The Ardsley Education Foundation and the opportunity
for individuals, alumni, educators and local corporations to join together
in support of this non-profit educational organization. Many innovations
and enhancements at Concord Road School, Ardsley Middle School and Ardsley
High School are the direct result of the work of Ardsley Education Foundation
volunteers. Please consider joining the effort, whether you can spend
a little or a lot of time. And bring your good ideas too!
In this fundraising period the Foundation was able to provide Concord
Road School with a portable sound system, and many new projects are planned
for the coming year. In addition, the Foundation will provide new smart
boards to the School District thanks to a $12,000 grant from New York
State recently announced by Assemblyman Richard Brodsky.
At Ardsley Middle School, the Foundation was pleased to be able to provide
funding for a new sound system, and a new fitness center, an integral
part of the CAP program. Additional upgrades are planned to enhance the
sound system in the near future.
At Ardsley High School, the Foundation was thrilled to purchase a new
sound system that has so improved the presentation of many stage productions
to date.
This year's Night of Sweet Success was a wonderful evening - over 190
attendees, including many teachers and staff came together to enjoy the
evening of desserts, auction items and comedy. Thanks to the very generous
support of many sponsors, community members and families which ensured
the success of the Auction. It is the goal of the Foundation to plan new
events that merge the spirits of giving and community.
Please call the Foundation at (914) 693-6300 Ext. 7770 and leave your
