Third Ten Week Schedule

1) the schedule of the next 10 weeks and our enhanced hybrid model (hybrid students attending on campus, alternating weeks);

Board of Education Meeting Tuesday, March 2, 2021
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that based upon notices and health advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials and pursuant to Executive Order 202.1 of the Governor of the State of New York, dated March 12, 2020, which, among other things, suspended portions of the NYS Open Meetings Law, the Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 will be held by a video conferencing app ZOOM.
Due to public health and safety concerns and pursuant to Executive Order 202.1 of the Governor of the State of New York, the public will not be permitted to attend this meeting in person or at the remote locations where the Board of Education members will be situated and public comment will not be permitted. Therefore, those provisions of Board Policy 1510 regarding public meetings, videoconferencing and public expression at meetings are being suspended for Tuesday night’s meeting and until further notice. The public, however, will be able to watch and listen to this meeting through LocalLive streaming on our district website.
Follow this link to join the live stream of the meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone. You can also go to the LocalLive website and choose the ‘Upcoming School Events’ in the ‘Upcoming Sports Events’ pull-down menu and choose ‘Watch’ to view the meeting at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Notable items on the agenda - The plan for a safe return to five days on campus in the hybrid model and an overview of the 2021-2022 Budget will be presented during the second Public Budget Work Session.
The Board of Education’s agenda is available online at BoardDocs on Monday, March 1, 2021. The public can email written comments or questions to Donna Accurso, District Clerk at daccurso@ardsleyschools.org by 4 pm Tuesday that will be read aloud at the meeting. Any member of the public who has questions should contact Donna Accurso in advance of the meeting at daccurso@ardsleyschools.org.
Anyone having difficulty viewing the live stream of the meeting should contact Liz DeMicco at edemicco@ardsleyschools.org during the meeting. It is intended that the meeting Tuesday night will be recorded and transcribed.
Prior to the Regular Board of Education Meeting, it is expected the Board of Education will make a motion to move into Executive Session at 6:15 pm to discuss confidential personnel matters.
LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON DISTRICTWIDE SAFETY PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the Ardsley Union Free School District shall hold a public hearing on the 16th day of March, 2021, at 7:00 P.M., at the Ardsley High School Library, Ardsley, New York, by use of videoconferencing app zoom streaming through LocalLive on the District website, for the purpose of discussion of proposed revisions to the Districtwide Safety Plan for the 2020-2021school year on Pandemic Planning, to be considered for adoption by the Board of Education. A copy of the Districtwide Safety Plan with proposed changes is posted on the District website at www.ardsleyschools.org or you may request a copy by contacting the District Clerk at daccurso@ardsleyschools.org.

Strategic Planning Update:
This year we initiated a community-wide effort to identify priorities for our next strategic plan. The Strategic Planning Council was formed in fall 2018 and included over 40 members from our learning community including parents, students, teachers and administrators from each school (CRS, AMS & AHS), as well as Board of Education and community members. See the results of our work in this video and presentation.
