2nd & 3rd Grade Continental Math League
During the school year, our 2nd and 3rd-grade students will have an opportunity to participate in the Continental Mathematics League Challenge. Students can choose to take part in the challenge which will be administered during the school day. The students who enter this challenge will compete with grade level peers on a national level. Participants will engage in three meets with questions aimed at developing their ability to approach a mathematical problem that utilizes creative reasoning and the application of patterns and relationships.
We celebrate the participants and their willingness to persevere in solving these challenging problems at the close of these meets with certificates and awards. We are excited to announce that the Continental Mathematics League challenge launches in January!
The links below will provide you with sample meet questions that have been designed by the Continental Mathematics League.
This year’s Continental Mathematics League meet dates are as follows:
Meet # 1 - January 3, 2019
Meet # 2 - January 31, 2019
