Hello and welcome to 4th grade!!! 

My name is Kristen Cristiano and I'll be your child's Special Education teacher for this year. Some background information about myself is that I have been working in education for many years. I started as a teaching assistant while going to graduate school to earn my Master's degree in Education from Hunter College. After becoming dual certified as a General Education (1-6) and Special Education (1-6) teacher, I taught in many different grades, including K-4th grade. I love to eat, exercise and spend time with my family and dog, Eddie!

My years of teaching experience have helped me understand that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I am eager to work as a "teacher and parent team" with you to help make your child's overall learning experience positive and challenging.
