Ms. Donna Drake

My name is Donna Drake and I teach English as a New Language (ENL) at Ardsley Middle and High Schools. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Loyola University in Baltimore and my Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at CUNY Hunter. I hold New York State Certification in Teaching ESOL (K-12), Teaching ELA (7-12) as well as School/District Administration and Supervision. I have taught ESL in the elementary, middle and high school settings for over twenty years, both in New York State as well as abroad in Thailand, Japan and Poland. This is my sixteenth year teaching in Ardsley; I truly love working here and with our English Language Learners whose contributions and accomplishments are as rich and as varied as the languages they speak.
