Eighth Grade Chorus
Eighth Grade Chorus is a performance based course which involves the teaching and performance of three-part choral repertoire.
Students learn correct rehearsal technique - posture, breath and voice control, pitch accuracy, as well as proper listening skills. A further understanding of solfege is developed as means of good pitch and key discernment.
The Chorus performs two concerts during the year, both winter and spring.
Students are encouraged to take part in a vocal performance at their graduation ceremony in June.
