PTSA's Ardsley Cares Day: A Huge Success

PTSA's Ardsley Cares Day: A Huge Success

The PTSA's Ardsley Cares Day exceeded expectations, engaging over 300 volunteers in impactful charitable activities that benefited multiple organizations across our community. The enthusiastic participation from local troops and students was especially uplifting.

- Volunteers assembled 1,200 bags and kits for local organizations, including Maria Ferreira Children's Hospital, The Sharing Shelf, Lift Up Westchester, Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry, and Play It Forward.
- The ACE PTO packed over 400 snack bags for Midnight Run.
- The environmental team cleaned Macy Park, collecting over 400 pounds of trash to help preserve our natural spaces.
- Children and girl scouts baked and packaged 500 dog biscuits for the Yonkers Animal Shelter.
- Community organizations like ASVAC and Stormwater Management provided outreach tables, while the fire department served a delicious breakfast and showcased a fire truck.

Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered! Your support of the PTSA's mission to engage our community in meaningful service is invaluable. Events like Ardsley Cares Day foster a spirit of volunteerism and teach our children the importance of giving back.
