• AHS offers dozens of clubs that range from activities like frisbee to groups that are actively pursuing social justice. Getting involved is a great way to make new friends, to discover and further passions, and to develop collaborative and leadership skills that will serve you well for the rest of your life.

    Clubs meet after ninth period, so they should not interfere with your academic responsibilities. To find out where and when a club is meeting, stop by the Guidance office or Mr. Carlson's office.

      To start a new club, you will need to:

    • Fill out a club proposal form
    • Meet with Mr. Carlson
    • Arrange for a table at the Club Fair. Student Council runs the club fair, be sure to coordinate with the Student Council Advisors. 
    • New club proposals will be considered for approval after the Club Fair
