Welcome to band! Learning and participating in band is more than playing an instrument.  Music is not only an enjoyable subject, but a subject that can enrich students’ lives and their education. Through participation in music students learn to work cooperatively, develop skills such as problem solving, positive leadership, and  communication. Students who participate in music also show improved motivation and academic performance.
