Ms. Melissa Lugo
Hello Ardsley Families,
My name is Melissa Lugo, and I have the pleasure of teaching 3rd and 4th-grade science at Concord Road! It is truly wonderful to work within such an involved and nurturing school community. My philosophy on teaching is rooted in providing social and emotional equity for all students, as well as ensuring my students are furnished with various and appropriate avenues to learn and explore based on their interests and learning needs. In science class, I work to integrate literacy, technology, and hands-on experiences to ensure a well-rounded science experience for your children. All lessons are aligned to the New York State Learning Standards, and geared to encourage students to explore, learn and investigate in innovative and exciting ways! If you have any questions or concerns, I am always available to you via email at mlugo@ardsleyschools.org.
