Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Francesca Hagadus
Bonjour et Bonne Rentrée! I will be teaching in place of Madame Kathleen Daigneault until the end of September.
I retired from teaching French and Spanish in 2015 from Chappaqua. Since then, I have replaced teachers all over Westchester County who go on leave.
I am American, but I grew up in Mexico City where I attended a French school, the Lycée Franco- Mexicain. All of my classes were in French, so I spoke French in school, Spanish with my friends and English at home. I moved back to the USA when I was 12, to Westchester, with my parents. I went to college at Georgetown University where I majored in Foreign Languages and added Russian to my languages. I started teaching in Chappaqua in 1982--and the rest is history!
Obviously, I love to teach! I have two sons in their twenties. I love to travel (France is a favorite!), ski, swim and read. The pandemic has made travel hard, but maybe we can travel virtually together!
