Originally hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, I survived two Polar Vortexes (and a few milder Midwest winters) at The University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I earned two degrees: a regular Bachelor of Arts in Radio/TV/Film and a Journalism Bachelor of Arts with a focus on strategic communication (advertising and public relations) through the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I attended graduate school in the Bay Area where I earned my Masters of Science in Education and I hold teaching credentials in both California and New York. I have experience teaching and tutoring in Kindergarten through 5th grade across all subjects in both public and private schools in the Bay Area and New York City. 1st grade is my favorite grade to teach - so much growth happens and it is truly incredible to see children experience so many "light-bulb moments."

In my spare time, you can find me quoting Kristin Wiig, singing Broadway show tunes, performing in local musical theater, or playing with my two little dogs, Nori Krinkle and Schooner.
