    The Library will be closed ALL day for classes today!

    Students interested in DBT please email acarbone@ardsleyschools.org or visit the guidance office for more information.

    If anyone is interested in becoming the school mascot for various events this school year, please see Mrs. Rosen.  The costume will fit a person 5 feet 9 inches or taller.  Be aware that the costume is heavy and well insulated.  A friend will need to accompany you as the costume can make gauging space while walking difficult.

    All Seniors and their high school brother/sister should schedule a sitting time for their sibling photo for the Yearbook with Minnie Boonchan or Anna Lee. Photos will be taken 5, 6, 7, or 9th on 10/18. Please see the full list HEREThe schedule for your candid/casual pics is posted on room 111 (Art Room).  You are welcome to wear what you want for these photos as long as it’s appropriate.  

    The following colleges are visiting today in the Guidance Department:  Tufts University @ 12:50pm.

    The AHS Writing Center is offering a second workshop on revising and finalizing college essay drafts. If you wish to attend the workshop this Tuesday, October 3rd, sign up for one of the 3 workshops on the AHS Writing Center page on Google Classroom.

    Technology News

    Ardsley High School requires all students to have a device for daily use both in class and at home for learning. Students can bring their own device or request a school-issued Chromebook.   Please complete this form to let us know your intentions. In addition, all students must agree to the Chromebook Usage Agreement. 

    *All families are eligible to pay for insurance coverage for a school-issued Chromebook. To learn more about coverage for your student’s Chromebook refer to the link below (Worth Ave Group). 

    Once students receive their devices, families will be able to purchase or renew insurance. Any family who purchased insurance for a school-issued Chromebook last year, please note that it will expire on 9/1 and you must renew it annually. Refer to the link below (Worth Ave Group) to purchase the insurance. Otherwise, you will be responsible for any damage that can result in a $150 - $300 charge.

    A MESSAGE FROM THE YEARBOOK STAFF

    Anyone who needs assistance in scheduling their session should reach out to the studio's Customer Care Department at (716) 512-6336 or customercare@legacystudios.com. Photos will take place in the high school's small gym.  Fully read the information on the company's website about the formal and cap and gown photos they will take during that day.  Casual photos will be taken on 10/18 and will be scheduled by the Yearbook staff and posted on Room 111 as the date gets closer.

    Congratulations to AHS National Merit Semifinalists!

    Congratulations to Ardsley High School Semifinalists Sophie Barnett, Anisha Kumar, Joyce Lu, Anay Mody, Rosemary Stam, Alexandra Wang, and James Weber. These academically talented High School seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships! National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced in Spring 2022.

He is being recognized for both his academic achievements and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. The College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program started thirty-eight years ago and honors some of the most talented Latinx students across the country.
