The Computer Science Fundamentals Unit is designed to be a fun and engaging way to introduce the basics of computer science. Using the app, Tynker, as well as the website, code.org as a foundation, lessons blend online and "unplugged" non-computer activities to teach students computational thinking, problem-solving, programming concepts, and digital citizenship.

Here are some of the skills that students will be learning:
    • Creating an algorithm
    • Sequencing
    • Debugging
    • Loops
    • Conditionals
    • Functions

    And much more!

Feel free to check out code.org and Tynker to see the plethora of activities you and your children can do together at home!
